GlobeLiveTV is a free Android application that aggregates live television streams from dozens of countries. It lets users watch news, sports, entertainment and cultural programs without the need for a cable subscription or a VPN.
When you open GlobeLiveTV, the app contacts a cloud‑based index that lists available streams. Each entry contains the stream URL, channel logo and basic metadata. The player uses Android’s ExoPlayer component to decode the video, automatically selecting the best bitrate for your current network.
All streams are sourced from publicly available broadcast feeds; the app does not host any video content itself. This approach keeps the app free and eliminates the need for a subscription.
Download the APK from the Appitika store or directly from the Google Play Store. After installation, grant the app permission to access the internet and, optionally, to send notifications. No additional configuration is required.
GlobeLiveTV runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) and newer. It works on smartphones, tablets and Android TV devices, provided the device supports the required video codecs (H.264/AVC and AAC audio).
The app only links to streams that are already publicly available. It does not host copyrighted material, which aligns with typical streaming‑link applications.
Recording is not built into the app. Users can employ third‑party screen‑recording tools if their device permits it.
The development team updates the channel index weekly, and push notifications inform users of major additions.
Currently the app is completely free and ad‑supported. A premium, ad‑free version may be considered in future updates.
