Muslim Pro: Quran, Athan & Prayer Times

What is Muslim Pro?

Muslim Pro is a free Android application developed by Bitsmedia that brings together several core tools for Muslims in one place. It is designed to help users observe the five daily prayers, read the Holy Quran, and stay connected with essential aspects of Islamic worship throughout the day.

Main features

• Prayer times – Location‑based calculations give you the times for each of the five daily prayers. The app lets you choose a calculation method that matches your local community.
• Athan notifications – You can set up audible alerts for each prayer. The sound can be customized or muted according to personal preference.
• Quran access – The full text of the Quran is available for reading. Users can switch between Arabic script and several translations, and listen to recitations.
• Qibla finder – A built‑in compass points toward the Kaaba, helping you determine the correct direction for prayer wherever you are.
• Daily supplications – A collection of common duʿās and dhikr is included for quick reference during personal worship.

How it works

After installing the app, you grant it permission to access your device’s location. This enables the prayer‑time engine to calculate times based on your city or GPS coordinates. You can then customize the notification schedule, select a preferred Athan sound, and choose a translation for the Quran. The Qibla compass uses the device’s magnetic sensor to show the direction to Mecca in real time.

Practical uses

• Set reliable reminders so you never miss a prayer, even when you’re traveling.
• Read or listen to the Quran during commutes, breaks, or quiet moments.
• Use the Qibla finder in unfamiliar locations such as airports or hotels.
• Refer to the built‑in duʿā list for quick supplications before meals, travel, or other daily activities.

Installation information

The app is available through the Google Play Store. Search for the package name com.bitsmedia.android.muslimpro or the title “Muslim Pro: Quran Athan Prayer”. Tap “Install” and follow the on‑screen prompts. The download size is modest, and the app runs on most Android devices that support standard location services.

Things to know before installing

• The app is free to download and use; some optional in‑app purchases may be offered for additional content.
• Location access is required for accurate prayer times and Qibla direction.
• Battery usage is minimal, but enabling continuous GPS can increase consumption.

Who may find it useful?

Muslim Pro is helpful for anyone who wants a single, offline‑capable tool for daily worship. It is especially convenient for travelers, students, and professionals who need reliable prayer reminders and quick access to the Quran without switching between multiple apps.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an internet connection?

Internet is only needed for the initial download and for optional updates. Once installed, prayer times, Quran text and Qibla direction work offline using the device’s location data.

Can I change the calculation method for prayer times?

Yes. The settings include several widely used methods (e.g., Muslim World League, Umm al‑Qura) so you can match local practice.

Is the Quran text verified?

The Quran content is based on standard Arabic script and includes translations that are commonly used in digital editions. Users can select the translation that best fits their study needs.
