SMS Virtual – Receive SMS on Android

What is SMS Virtual?

SMS Virtual is a free Android app from Tecrow Apps that lets you obtain disposable virtual phone numbers. These numbers can receive SMS messages, making it easier to verify online accounts while keeping your real phone number private.

Main features

• Instant virtual numbers – Choose a number from the available list and start receiving messages right away.
• Online SMS inbox – All incoming texts appear inside the app, so you don’t need a separate device.
• Privacy protection – Your personal mobile number stays hidden from services that require verification.
• Simple credit system – Numbers are provided based on credits; you can add credits as needed.

How it works

1. Select the country and the type of service you need a number for.
2. Review the price per activation and confirm the purchase using your credit balance.
3. Copy the virtual number and paste it into the website or app that is asking for verification.
4. When the service sends a verification SMS, the message appears in the SMS Virtual inbox, usually within a few minutes.

Practical uses

Anyone who needs to sign up for a new online service, test an app, or protect their personal contact information can benefit from SMS Virtual. It is especially handy for:

• Creating accounts on social platforms without exposing your real number.
• Testing SMS‑based authentication during development.
• Temporarily receiving codes for one‑time logins.

Installation information

The app is available for free on the Google Play Store. Simply search for SMS Virtual – Receive SMS, tap Install, and follow the on‑screen prompts. No additional configuration is required after installation.

Things to know before installing

• The app requires an internet connection to retrieve numbers and display incoming messages.
• Each virtual number is time‑limited; messages must be received before the number expires.
• Credits are needed to obtain numbers; the app provides a way to purchase or add credits within the interface.

Who may find it useful?

SMS Virtual is suitable for privacy‑conscious users, developers testing SMS flows, and anyone who frequently registers for new online services and wants to avoid sharing their personal phone number.
